put your disc in and search for sndvol32 file then expand across to documents and move to syst32 file. thats for the windows driver but that shouldnt be missin otherwise the drvrs are on the mother board where you can go into device manager uninstall it then it should find it and reinstall itself or if its a separate sound card again uninstall then reinstall

If you can't identify your soundcard, see if you can search the driver by FCC number.
Also, the website above has a sound card ID utility I think.

you have to know the name of the sound card manufacturer and the product ID number so that you can download drivers for it.
