How do I copy data on a cd to dvd format?

I have Nero and I need to copy a restore dvd for my laptop, because the cd part isn't functioning on it and I need to restore the entire drive. I don't have a floppy drive.

I would be using my PC for this task and then use the dvd on my laptop dvd format.

The CD part of my laptop CD/DVD is not functioning and the restore disc is on CD.

I assume your machine two optical drives- one CD and one DVD and the CD isn't working? That's not a problem.

Computer DVD drives also read CDs, you don't need to convert anything.

Just put the restore CD in the DVD drive and reboot...
