My laptop battery was running out and the laptop started to hibernate, but it miraculously started up again...I'm not sure if i pushed a button or not. The battery meter even read 0% and I was able to use the laptop for another 15 minutes.

maybe it was standby and not hibernate.

It will have tried to start, ignoring battery levels.

Most laptops do this, it gives you sufficent time to save your work.

Also, if you do as you said above, then the Hibernation will not work correctly, causing glitches.

If your computer is like mine, it has a short reserve to allow you to close out programs etc so you don't loose your work.

That same thing happened to me once I don't know why it does that. Let me know what you find out.
