Obviously I use yahoo for my email. Someone emailing me has a different email with a certain domain (i.e jane_doe@blank.edu). If I block the blank.edu domain from emailing me is that the same as blocking their IP address. They log onto aol and send me emails from the same computer that they have the jane_doe@blank.edu email registered to.

I get an error message Error 6: Handle is invalid. I get this message when it gets to verifying username and password. The second attempt, I get an Error 50: The request is not supported.

WindowsXP Pro SP2 with all updates.

I have done the following:
uninstalled the modem driver both in phone and modems and in device manager.
I ran diagnostic on the modem and no errors were reported
I rebooted every time I do something.
I went to msconfig and did a diagnostic reboot.
I scanned for virus, malware, and adaware nothing
I did sfc /scannow
I have reinstalled the driver

this problem happened right after an upgrade from Windows XP Home to XP Professional. The modem worked fine before upgrade but the problem before was the wireless network which now works.

Each lab should have 40 computers connected to a network. An additional machine will be used as a server. It is expected that both campuses will be connected to facilitate remote queries. Assignments/grades will be posted for student viewing only. Sharing of workstation files are required. Laptops with wireless LAN to connect to network. Lecturers will be able to have class over LAN with AV presentation. printing will be at the server location. UPS at both sites. Lab should have all conduits in place. A proposal is to be presented for equipping these labs to meet the requirements.
