what is better a Nvidia 7600 gs or ati radeon x1650?

Things that made it hard for me to choose:

-Some games work better with th 7600 gs and some work better with the ati x1650
-Many Games come with the nvidia logo on them.
-The ati radeon x1650 (i think) has better gpu specifications
-The nvidia 7600 gs is more expensive.

Thank you for your help.

I listen to Pandora Radio at pandora.com a lot and it makes my already slow-a.ss laptop lag massively. Sometimes I'll sit with all my non-Pandora programs (usu. one or two Word documents and one or two other Firefox browsing tabs) unresponsive for like 10 minutes. It's pretty ridiculous.

I suspect part of the reason Pandora's so slow and makes my programs unresponsive is the numerous ads loading and re-loading with Flash Player, but I'm not sure how to disable Flash Player on Firefox. Advice?

So my friend bought a PC game but it needs a minimum of 500 MB of 'physical memory' to play.

Questions:

1. What's the difference between physical memory and RAM?

2. Where can I check how much physical memory my friend has?

My mom got a stereo but didn't need the speakers. Each speaker has a male cable to plug into the stereo (one for "left" and one for "right"). But my computer tower only has one female (audio out). Can I get some kind of adapter that will accept both males from the speakers and combine them to plug into my computer tower?

I Think The modem is the charter box that plugs into the cable that gives me internet access.

I have been unpluging it and my router when i turn my computer off. But i have left the cables pluged in.

Is it alright to not unplug those things?

And Leave it running 24/7? (The MOdem And Router)

Thanks?

I know probably seems like a REALLY dumb question - but I want to do it "safely," I just got a new PC, and I need to install a card into a PCI slot. For some ASININE reason, the PC manufacturer has TWO pieces of metal that are NOT cut, and are "attached" to the PC-case... I had the same issue with my old PC, when trying to install an extra hard-drive!

My question is HOW do you safely cut / twist the remaining metal pieces of the PCI-slot covers, so that I can insert a PCI card??? Thanks in advance for this rather basic question...

Hi all, I play the game Counter Strike: Source, 1.6, and a few other games like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

At the moment I have a 4000+ Processor, 7600 Graphics card, and LogiTech headphones + Razor-Habu Mouse.

To improove my gaming, I am trying to go and buy a Gaming-Mouse-Pad, and a new keyboard ( Pref to be able to light up in dark )

To do this I need to know what is the difference between a normal mouse-pad and a gaming one, and the same question goes towards the keyboard.

Thanks for anyone who answers back

P.S. If you can, I would appreciate some websites with some gaming ones on.
