Your PC's ATI Express 200 chipset supports PCI express. As long as the x16 CPIe slot is physically implemented on your motherboard, then go ahead w/ the 8500GT.

If you want serious gaming, consider at least the 8600GT or the ATI HD 2600XT. Even w/ 512Mb memory, 8500GT is slow because of its lean architecture. It only has 16 Stream Processors while 8600GT has 32 and 2600XT has 120.

the information you gave is not telling me much. i dont understand i/o garbble.if you have a pci-e slot the 8500 should work.your system information may tell what kind of slot you have . look up your pc on the net. you did not tell what kind of pc it is.the info is there you just have to look. also the 7900gt is a better card than 8500.
