There is a domain name I want and the only option I have is to "Backorder" it for twice the price of buying it. What does that mean and should I do it?

I have 2 disk drives, the top one works and opens, but does not read any kind of disk. My bottom one does not work at all it does'nt even open. I have'nt used them for awhile, but they did used to work. What should I try?

Ok... so my new i-Pod Classic ONLY works with the new itunes 7.5 which ONLY works with computers that have XP or Vista installed. I have a piece of you know what computer with all my MP3 files on it and you guessed it... Windows 2000, and since my i-Pod won't be recognized on the computer, that is pretty much useless to me. So now I want to transfer my MP3 files from that computer to my new XP equipped laptop. My IT dude says to get a memory stick and that should work... will it??? Can a memory stick transfer MP3 files easily from one computer to another? Help... please?

I have windows vista home premium and i wanted it to look like a Mac OS X. I dont want to use flyakite because i heard about some bad stuff about it. Lets say I have a fixed reference such as 86759 in Cell A1 and a date next to it, on my second tab is a weekly changing worksheet with the same reference but the date changes. How can I get tab one cell A1s date to update when the tab 2 date changes. Meaning, I have a primary list of jobs with start dates which is a fixed sheet. Weekly I get updated job list to which the start dates have changed. When I copy and paste the updated report in tab b, I would like my cell reference to find the job number in tab b, and the new date, and update the date on my fixed primary sheet? Just recently, I've decided to change my major to Information Technology. I've heard that Southeastern Louisiana (4 year institution) has a great IT program. However, that'll extend my program to 2 more years.

Now, University of Phoenix allows me to earn my B.S degree in 2 years. Do you feel that this is credible and will benefit me at all? I know someone who's getting their Bachelor's from Phoenix, but I know that most employers don't receive degrees from Phoenix (online) as they will from a 4 year institution. How would you feel if you had to choose between the 2 colleges?

I had Avast antivirus but decided to change to AVG and try it out. When I set it up I noticed I couldn't watch online movie trailers without it cutting in and out. I went to Broadband Speed Test page and I noticed that AVG cut my ping time down from 1.5 GPS to 450 kbps. Just to make sure that AVG was the problem I exited out of AVG and tested several times and each time I tested without AVG my ping would go way back up to 1.5 to 2 GPS. Im back with AVAST now and my ping stays 1.5 to 2 GPS. If anyone else tries this let me know how yours did

for the last 5 weeks., i haave been receving different and many bank statements, credit cards under other peoples name. i dont know who they are, and never heared of them in my life and i have their banking information and credit cards. i have called the banks and told them that nobody that name leaves here, and to cancel or freeze the accout. but they keep sending them. this is a brand new house, i am the first one to ever live here., its not like people have lived here before and forgot to change their mailing address. what should i do? i want all this personal information from other people to keep coming here.

Ok, Here is how it is..
I have 2 computers side by side, There is one modem and no router, I have the ethernet cord plugged into one and the usb into another.. It is running on the same modem, and has worked like this for a little over a year..

Now, My one computer wont connect to the internet, it says Acquiring Network Address, then when it says connected 100mb my internet doesnt work on any of my stuff, then I turned the routher off unplugged everything anf then turned it back onn 10 minutes later, now the other computer worked but this one didnt, which wont work because this is my moms, then i did it again and turned this on on first now this one works and mine wont get internet..

Using Comcast Cable internet..
Cable Modem SBV5220..
This computer is using the USB Internet connection..

Any help would be appreciated..
I know i can buy a router and do this but this has always worked and idk why it isnt now..
Nothing changed but when i turned mine on i got nothing....
