Ok... so my new i-Pod Classic ONLY works with the new itunes 7.5 which ONLY works with computers that have XP or Vista installed. I have a piece of you know what computer with all my MP3 files on it and you guessed it... Windows 2000, and since my i-Pod won't be recognized on the computer, that is pretty much useless to me. So now I want to transfer my MP3 files from that computer to my new XP equipped laptop. My IT dude says to get a memory stick and that should work... will it??? Can a memory stick transfer MP3 files easily from one computer to another? Help... please?

Yes a memory stick will work just fine .... plug it into the 2000 machine and it will auto recognise the memory stick then copy all your MP3's to it ... or burn them to CD ..or network the two computers and transfer the MP3's that way

Put one hand on the case of one computer, aproximately where the hard disk is. Do the same with the other computer with your other hand. Close your eyes and think of each MP3 file you want to transfer.
Next will the files to trasnfer one at a time. Or you can put a bunch of files in a folder and will the folder to trasnfer. That saves a lot of time.
easy!
Alternatively you can use a memorey stick if you have a USB port on both computers.

Yes, a memory stick will work, but depending on how many songs you have it could take a long time.
If you have alot of songs, your Ipod should show up as a secondary drive, even if it doesn't show up in the latest version of Itunes and Win 2K, and would be a better bet for transferring alot of songs over at once.

yup , you can buy USB 128mb , it can transfer every file on your pc to another pc
don't need buy a USB 256mb or more , more MB is more files you can put in it but also more money
so i recommend you just buy 128MB , transfer MP3 files from your PC to USB and from USB to another PC , do it again and again
