after i phsically install, what do i do settings wise? any light on this subject much appreciated. socket AM2. Vista.

its depend on your bios...
if the bios tells you that you need to go to setup, then set the appropriate setting in you cmos setup...
if none just continue your work...

It is self explanatory, you just adjust the date and time (if you changed the BIOS battery too as you should every 2 years), then go to http://cebucustomcomputers.tripod.com or some other set up site and set it up to run properly.

Read your Motherboard manual ... it's all explained in there .... but if you're only changing the processor ... you shouldn't have to make any changes to the BIOS ... it will stay as it was before
