Try ebay. There are lots of sellers there with "stores" for pieces and parts as well as new systems. Most U.S. sellers will ship to Canada, and some sell from Canada, and others ship and sell internationally. The prices and shipping costs, are competitive with the standard market practices everywhere.

Go to http://www.pricewatch.com , there, they compare all the prices all over the world and I know that some of the stores will even be in your area.
They also list different warrantees and special, discounted prices.
Prices are changed there and the difference is displayed in real time as it occurs.
Oh, and please don't say cheap, I prefer less expensive, as cheap means something totally crappy.

I'm not sure if you have it in England but Maplin here in Ireland is great, they have all types of harware at great prices, if you're looking for somewhere more standard PC world is probably best althoug it is expensive!
