It says I have Vista Home Premium, but when I try to go on Word it asks for a product key code. Does this mean i have to pay for and download the upgrade?

I can convert the file to a PDF and then print it from Acrobat. If the print driver was bad I shouldn't be able to print from any program. If Excel was bad I wouldn't be able to print to other printers either(which I can)... so what gives?

I was wondering if there is anyway you can get an Excel document to appear like its not Excel, I saw one a few months ago that was a table/questionaire, I knew it was an excel document becasue of the file extension but other than it was hard to tell how it had been created.

2gb ram, 8500 Graphics card 512mb, 3.0 intel pentium 4 processor intagrated. windows XP

it was running on a 1.8 intel pentium, 1 gb ram, 128mb graphics card.

all i did was transfer the hard drive. that was the only old thing i brought to the new comp.

what steps should i take to fix this problem? could it be the hard drive at all? the programs on the hard drive? the PC parts?

I have a wireless connection and a DSL connection to my computer at work and everything works fine. I bring my laptop to the hotel I am staying at connect to the wireless signal or DSL there (it says i'm connected with an excellent signal strength through D-link) but when I open IE it says Internet Explorer cannot open website, nor can I log into msn etc. Anyone have any suggestions?

I downloaded a stock control program that was not what I wanted, so i deleted.
The problem is that all my spreadsheets are affected so it does not allow me to do any changes. All the buttons on top have desaperared and the right click does not work.
The program is in portuguese and is from MONDIAL INFORMATICA.
Can i reverse the config as it was before i installed this piece of crap?
I already tried to go to last saved point from system back up and tried to set up the excell. The problem is, I am no familiar with excell.
HELP PLEASe!

I cannot receive wireless in my laptop, but I do have an RJ-45 wired input (and it works fine). I am interested in a device to convert WIRELESS signals into WIRED for my computer. Some hotels have these and call them "bridges" but I cannot seem to located one. Any advice? Thanks

Ok i have an access database that is used to run reports off extracts from excel. I import the extracts from the main db, and run macros in access on them to fill tables. I am getting data type conversion errors on a text field that holds a number because there are accidental letters in the field on some records. the excel sheet and the access database are set up for those fields to be text anyway, so why is access thinking they are all supposed to be numbers? any ideas?
