I can convert the file to a PDF and then print it from Acrobat. If the print driver was bad I shouldn't be able to print from any program. If Excel was bad I wouldn't be able to print to other printers either(which I can)... so what gives?

I would try to reinstall excel, if you are able to print from other applications with the identical print settings than the problem is in excel somewhere not your print driverr

You may want to see what your default printer settings are for Excel. It may be set up to print to a file. In that case all you should have to do is change the settings.

Try clicking file/print then look at the printer ID. If not your printer then click the down pointing triangle beside the printer name and change it to what you want. Someone may have chosen a different printer and not reset.
