Help, I need a new laptop and don't have a clue to buy. I'd like to use the laptop to watch videos, create videos and assorted mp3s to upload to various media sites.

What laptops would you recommend? How much working memory would you suggest that I consider buying? Are there any features that you would suggest for these uses?

Any help will be truly appreciated. Thanks!!

Ok, so this is usually how it happens, i turn on my computer, start to do my work and then click... its off and rebooting. Usually this only happens when i open like a video or an online game. I've used 3 virus scanners and a spyware scanner and i'm completely and totally clean of all spyware/virus's so now im left with a computer that turns off the second it loads something big up... whats the problem here?

I'm trying to arange my data so that the years are ascending. I also have other data that correspond to each row. I have data on the height, width, color, ect. for each item, and I need to sort them by year, but when I hit the AZ button on the tool bar, it only sorts the year column and leaves the rest of the data unsorted. How do I sort all the data to stay with the right year?

The popups are coming through Internet Explorer even though I have the pop up blocker on for both IE and Mozilla (which is the browser that I use). The thing is, sometimes the popups don't happen. Then other times they do. I thought they went away, but then they started back as mysteriously as they first started.

I'm a Megaten Girl (woot) and I'm currently WAY into Persona 3. I want to do a photoshoot imitating the style of the game, which consists of charcters using gun shaped tools to evoke part of thier personality from thier head, which looks just like they are shooting themselves. I'm afraid that if I upload a picture like that, myspace might delete my account, however, there is no policy on myspace that prohibits pictures involving weapons. Here is the quote from their policy:

Use of MySpace.com is restricted to persons 14 years of age or older.Any photo containing cartoons, comics, celebrities, nudity, pornography, sexually explicit images or any copyrighted image (unless you own the copyright) is not permitted. Photos of celebrities and cartoon or comic images are generally copyrighted by the owner.


Does anyone know for certain if this will result in my account being deleted? Or will it just go unnoticed like all the pornographic stuff I see all the time :)

I'm creating a run down of possible expenses in Excel for a wedding, and I'd like to create a drop-down list that adjusts costs. I'm no Excel expert and I'm trying to find proper tutorials regarding this, can anyone help? :)

Example:
I'd like to choose from a list of Wedding Photographer's that each have different rates when I'm in my Excel sheet. Choosing from the drop down list will adjust the cost accordingly in a comprehensive expense sheet.

When I choose "John Doe", for example, then his total cost (in the adjacent cell) will change. If I choose someone else from the drop-down list, then the number changes accordingly.

A1: Photographer Name (the drop down list)
B1: Actual Cost (number that appears based on selection in A1)

1. How can I properly create this sort of drop-down list?
2. Is it easy to add additional photographers and their corresponding cost later on?

I recently purchased a 1gb sandisk memory card for my digital camera. I heard you can put music on it and then transfer it to a ps3. I put the memory card in to my computer where it goes. I then click my computer then memory stick. After i click on it, it suddenly freezes and all the icons on my desktop dissapear. It is annoying because i have to restart it everytime then. Please Help
