there are several processor manufactures.. AMD and IBM, being the main competitors. It is like everything else the companies that give the greater discount on processors seem to be the winners.. they flood the market with their processors. because they are alot cheaper than the others... and are advertised alot more..

Now it is just like Microsoft.. they flooded the computer manufactures with cut priced Windows so what you have today is 90% windows systems. though should you look around for a better operating system you will find there are other operating systems that leave Microsoft Windows XP/Vista Ultimate in the dark ages, and not the Apple Mac OS/x operating system.

There is free operating system along with free software that leave MS so far behind the times, though you may never have heard them because they are FREE and not advertised at all.

So here is you're chance to find out what other operating system there are out there... try any version of Linux...

to check Linux out. go to youtube and type in the search bar.... Linux ... see for yourself what Linux can do.

Intel is an more suitable end processor, and better fee. AMD is low cost, and normally around the workstation international have a foul recognition. on the different I run AMD without a hitch, in straight forward terms had one problem with they took care of quickly . they say AMD can no longer compete with i7 however.

AMD

They have been the only competition to Intel since the late 80's however they are as much competition to intel as TNA is to the WWE or as Linux is to microsoft.
