You need to have a program that makes the DVD disc. I use a program called DVD Lab. It is the best. But it costs money. You may be able to find a good FREE DVD Authoring application at "VIDEOHELP.COM" if you have a Windows computer. They've got Mac stuff too, but since it's such a smaller chunk of the pie, there's not a lot of free software out yet. It's getting bigger though...

I personally always encode my stuff with TMPG Encoder first, then import it into DVD Lab. Works perfectly, with menus and all.

There are many FREE ways to do this, I suggest checking out the website

afterdawn.com

check out their guides on "Other video formats to DVDR"

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/

it is a great site for step-by-step instructions.

Hope this helps

goto nero.com and purchase Nero, the basic verison for like 39.00$ will do the job nicely and they set the standard for dvd burning.
