How many watts does a dell computer monitor produce?

i need to know what kind of power inverter i need i am putting it in my car thanks

If you go down to Radio Shack with the model number and make of your computer they should be able to fix you right up. If we are talking about a note book or a lap top I think that we are some where around 65 watts, but make sure and go to Radio Shack and tell them what you are wanting to do and give the the information I said above. There are a lot of different note book, laptops and regular computers that people are putting into their cars and no one can answer with out knowing a lot more about your computer.

WIthout knowing which monitor:

Somewhere between 20 and 150 watts.

It could have an inrush current of up to 50 amps.

Why not look up the specifications of the Dell web site?
