I just got a sweet deal on this computer ($800)
It has a pentium 3 300MHz and 64mb of SDRAM. Don't get me started on how sweet this thing is. I'm trying to install vista, but the CD won't fit in the floppy drive. This is making me really angry

I can upgrade the RAM to 256mb.

If I upgraded the RAM, would it be able to handle xubuntu and beryl? A guy made a youtube video of himself running xubuntu with beryl on a Pentium III 450 Mhz with 126 MB RAM and a Geforce 2 MX. I know the processor and ram in the hp pavillion 6735 can handle it, but I'm unsure of the GPU

I only paid $200 for it from a bargan shop I read it can run 3D games quite well on this site. This is the exact card I need to know how to install it.

Hi, my dad got this new dsl device that the carrier gave but it has different settings now....he has the power to have a time limit on every wireless computer in the house and or block sites......is there a way to bypass this.....i know the ip addresses and everything but his password.....is there a way or program that bypasses this new setting

i know a ram chip with ddr2 is vastly faster than one with sdram. but does video card speed make a difference? Im currently saving up for a supercomputer for 3d modeling but in the meanwhile im trying to double the speed of my video card.

This is tricky... I downloaded the Office 2007 (Beta) version, and it was expired. I removed it from my system, and am back to using Office 2003 Professional. Every time I open a document though, I get an "install" screen which I have to cancel about 3-4 times before the document opens. I then removed Office 2003 and reinstalled it, but the same problem keeps happening! Help someone, please. What setting, file, etc. do I have to remove, change, etc.?

I sell on ebay but for financial reasons may have to shut off phone and dsl to save money. OUR LIBRARIES ARE CLOSED, NO FUNDING. I don't think there are any computer cafes here because I live in a smaller Or town. I own Photoshop Elements 3.0 and, while it does a lot of things, I notice it doesn't have a color balancer or a selective coloring option. Is there some place on the internet that can show me how to get those effects using the tools that are already on Elements? Or, is there a free plug-in that I can download? I have a Cyber Acoustics headset that i use for talking on AIM and MSN to my friends, and a lot of the times, the voice comes in really weird, and makes the voice sound like a sound wave is going through it, i.e i cant hear anything but a gurgle. Does anyone know a computer setting that i can change that will fix this, or what to do? i think that the problem is on my end, not my friends, because my voice always works on the other end. HELP!!! Well I turned on my computer and popups appeared. I pressed X on all of them. So I waited for Firefox to work and when fire fox opened its home page..Sounds just started playing! It was like some random people talking and laughing or whatever. And I pressed Ctrl + alt + delete and no Internet browser was on except fire fox's home page..Can anyone help me out? It's really annoying and kinda creepy. Is this a virus or program? If so can anyone tell me how to delete it? Ill give 10 points.

I bought some Memorex CD-Rs (100 pack) off Amazon and got them today. When I took the shrink wrap off them and took the first CD off the spindle, I noticed that it had a really strong odor. It's similar to the smell of paint and those super bounce balls, very chemically. This is the first time I've used this brand. Is that normal?
