Why did this other scanner install without my knowledge, is there a virus in my computer that made it install without my permission?

I have a "guest" staying with me and she accesses all her bulk mail from my computer...She opens "everything" and responds to most everything. Also she has 1077 junk mails saved. My computer is "freezing" and doing all sorts of weird stuff. Also my accounts on myspace are being "phished" alot.. Would her opening this junk mail cause these problems?

I recently recieved an email from a person who is says that he is a bank accountant and says that a person died and has left me some money because i share some sort of distance relationship as him (he said that we share the same last name). What struck me the most suspicious was that he never told me the persons name, and whats more suspicous, is that his mail was a yahoo account, but my reply was to a gmail account.

Im planning on seeing if he will give me the name, plus the persons race (because my display name is different from my real name, and my real name is of a different origin even though i am of a completely different race). And when he starts to dip out, I have to report it.


Some questions i was wondering is:

1. When you die, does your money go to the next of kin?
2. If i do report it, How do i know that i got a response?

My browser keeps opening pages on its own ,for adverts ,and I dont like it.
Sometimes it even opens my browser on its own to go to one of these god-damm shitty advert sites,88 casino,sky poker,lots of shite sites that I would never go to myself.
Please can you offer help as how to stop it?

i have an inspiron 710m; i had a virus that kinda messed my laptop up, so the guy who fixed it had to completly wipe my hard drive; but wen i bought this laptop it had drivers for a dvd burner; i think that got erased, so i have a physical dvd burner but no software for that dvd burner; so is there any way that i can get my dvd software bak for FREE?

I need some guidance on handling a problem I recently experienced through Best Buy. My mother took her computer in because it was acting extremely sluggish and freezing up. Initially they told her it was $59.99 for a diagnostic exam. Later in the week she recieved a phone call telling her to fix the problem they needed to run extensive diagnostics and repair which would cost an additional $199.99 because they found viruses. They took our the viruses and installed some childsafe software and the total came to $370. They then called and said they discovered it was actually a bad harddrive and it needed to be replaced (an extra $100). Since replacing the harddrive will completely eliminate the work they did previously, I am wondering what our rights, as customers are. She specifically asked if she it was cheaper to buy a new computer and was told her computer is good and should last about 3 more years. Should they have been able to diagnose the bad harddrive from the inital tests

Each time I go on internet MY CPU jumps to like 60%

And also my System Idle Process is at 99 is that high or is it ok for this

I have several old msdos games from the late 80's and early 90's the I have tried to run on my old win 98 se system but when I do try to play them it will frezze up or when they do play there is no sound I have tryed threw the msdos prompt in the star button and I have tryed turning of windows and doing it right at the c:\ prompt, what o I need to get these to work?

um when i open my rom on my vba it just turns the visual boy's black screen into a white one and on the top of the file (that blue strip on the top of the screen) it says visual boy advanced then it shows a percentage and thats all it does, can you help me? i have seen other videos on you tube but they dont help, the percentage just keeps going up and down, sometimes it goes over 100%!
