ok question is how do you do it?? ok i have a laptop and on it i already have figured it out , in the control panel it has the parent controls and its done but on the other computer i have it dosent have the same technique as the laptop it dosent have a parent control link or anything so how can i do it on that computer do i have to go and buy some kind of software or something. please help and can you tell me exactly what to do!

its on a windows vista home premium with a geforce 8600m GT video card
these upgrades are all for about 100 dollars and im going to be gaming a bit on this laptop which part should i upgrade?

In my case, it's still less expensive than going with cable line or DSL so I don't want to take that route yet.

Are there any other options I may not be thinking of because unfortunately I have my hardwire service through Embarq who I have had many problems with (on their end) and I hate paying them a monthly phone bill when I never use that phone number for anything except Internet access.

Are there other ways of Internet connection besides Landline, DSL or Cable that are less expensive than a local phone bill?

I have recently become infected with this malware virus that sets off random MS explorer pages with some blank and some with fake adverts. Windows defender sees it but can't delete it as I believe it is memory resident. This virus is a real pain and so far no solution except a rebuild. Any suggestions pse? Any software that maybe might clean it ?

I installed Quickbooks Pro 2007, as practice on my home computer so I may find employment using Quickbooks. I noticed it made my screen switches to run a bit slower. I am on Windows Vista 2007. Are the internet options installe
along with the google icon installed on my desktop necessary for me to use and learn QBks? Icons installed were google, Cheks & More"; "Payroll"; "Process Credit Cards" and "Support for Quickbooks". I also installed the regular Quickbooks 2007 icon for accessing QBKS itself. Do I need all of these icons to properly use QKBKS? If not, what should I do? I'm not terribly computer savvy. Thank you.

ok so my connection doesnt work even when i have full green bars!
the only way i can get on is using linksys but it goes back to my connection after a few mins. another thing is that another comp is on using my connection in the house. could that be the reason?

The last few months I've heard nothing but great things about the iPhone... unfortunately I also heard nothing bad about MacBook Pro and I bought one which turned out to be a complete pile of sh!t -- we're talking absolutely ZERO ability to play games for $2500. I bought the MacBook Pro because Apple told me it would be better than a PC. They were completely full of sh!t and just fed me whatever bull they wanted to make a sale. The MacBook can't do ANYTHING. It works with virtually NO games. My neighbor bought himself a new HP laptop (same thickness as MacBook Pro) and he can do everything and MORE than my pile of hud can -- all at a fraction of the cost of what I paid!!! Seriously, why does Apple insist on screwing its customers?

Here's my set up. I've got a Dynamic XLR (3 pin) microphone. This will go though an XLR cord into a XLR female to 6.25 mm phonejack/minijack male converter. I then use another converter to change the 6.25mm phonejack/minijack to 3.5mm phonejack/ minijack which pugs into my computer. Do I need a preamp (preamplifier)? If I do, where will it go in the connection?

Use a while loop that continues to prompt the user for the price of a book. the prompt should end when the user enters a negative number for the price.
