Nope. The recovery disk has all the drivers and stuff for that particular machine.

An eMachine disc only works on eMachines! An HP disc only works on HP computers!
It's called software protection!

No.. Every computer has it's own. You Can Call to the company to buy the cds.. there about $20-$30
When you call they ask you for the computer serial Number..
So yeah I'm guessing that every computer has it's own, & plus there way different compters...[emachine & HP]

You all say each has its own recovery, mmmmm, My computer is my build, so what is its recovery disk? I use Xp.
