ok so my connection doesnt work even when i have full green bars!
the only way i can get on is using linksys but it goes back to my connection after a few mins. another thing is that another comp is on using my connection in the house. could that be the reason?

call your ISP's technical assistance, because the problem could be from there. also.. replace your ethernet cable and see if it will work then. you can also check your proxy and IP address settings. about someone else using your connection in the house.. that is fine since he/she is in your same network. it's not really your network, it's the whole house's network. even your neighbors can get on your network if it's wireless. so if you don't want anyone getting on your network, protect it by putting a password on it.

Ensure you have the proper encryption key (if any), have MAC authorization for your wireless card and also have an IP address (probably assigned via DHCP)

Hi!
Obviously your WiFi network Access Point is configured to use but one device. Try reconfiguring it. Or maybe, you Network Setting are incorrect.
