its on a windows vista home premium with a geforce 8600m GT video card
these upgrades are all for about 100 dollars and im going to be gaming a bit on this laptop which part should i upgrade?

Processor: 2.0ghz 800fsb/4mb cache TO 2.2ghz 800fsb/4mb cache

Hard Drive: 120gb 5400 RPM TO 160gb 7200 RPM

Memory : 2gb 667mhz RAM TO 3gb 667 mhz RAM

You cannot upgrade the CPU on most LTs easily. You can get a faster and larger HD and more RAM. Start with the RAM.

The processor upgrade would be a waste of money. You'd never notice the difference. And 2GB of memory is all you'll ever use anyhow. The hard drive will make a difference. It not only spins faster, but the data on the 120 is packed tighter, which means you read more with each revolution.

replace the no longer ordinary force for an SSD like the Corsair GT in case you dont ideas having much less area. You wont have faith the variation it makes. The cpu and reminiscence improve would be in basic terms approximately unnoticeable and a waste of money.

ah. well, since you have a decent video card, then go with the hard drive. not only can you increase the performance of games, but your os will boot faster and your programs will load faster
