i recently re-installed windows.. and now if i drag a box, or scroll it's jumpy?

like it's refreshing everytime it moves a little bit.. idk how to explain it really, execpt on an old tv when the lines are move up and down on the screen, when i scroll, it looks a little like that?


(my graphics card is fine it worked b-4, and it's brand new..

I am 16 and I am looking for a laptop, price is not an issue. I will probably use it mostly for surfing the web, school work, and listening to iTunes of course! Also I would want to download the Sims 2, so I need a laptop that the Sims wouldn't make it slow down or anything. And I will probably download microsoft office [word, excel, powerpoint] and photoshop. So does anyone have suggestions?

My uncle (who knows a friend at some discounted electronics place) sent me a webcam recently in bubble wrap. It came with no software, and i can't find the model name/number. I bought a computer off of the Cyberpower website back in February even after I read all of the terrible reviews about them. It took forever for my computer to finally arrive, but after it did I was fairly happy with it for about two weeks before it started having problems. After having had it for six months, I am thoroughly sick of it and would like to get ALL of my money back (it cost about $2,200), though they don't let you return computers after you've had them for over a month. So I was wondering what kind of things I should say on the phone to try to get them to give me a refund. I wouldn't really want to take legal action seeing as how I'm only fifteen. :)

i had my pc cleaned out yesterday. they installed win 2000. i used to have 98. btw-i'm kind of computer illiterate. alot of things are missing now that i'm back on line. when we try to play on line games, it says it requires internet explorer and windows. i though that's what i had. also, there is no game icon,as well as a few others, on my front page anymore. is this how 2000 works or am i doing something wrong here?

I am planning on getting a white MacBook at the end of summer but I'm wondering if I should wait until the newer version comes out. I know the new iMacs just came out but does that mean that they will make new MacBooks soon too or that they will wait longer since they just came out with a new computer?

I have about a 750MB .dv movie that was created on a Mac and plays perfectly on a Mac; however, it will not play properly on my PC. In Quicktime, about 10-30 seconds will play until the video stops, but even those 10-30 seconds are very, very poor quality. I tried it in VLC, and the quality is fine there, but the video stops after about 15 seconds (and I cannot fast forward or anything, either). Is my PC just a piece of junk and cannot handle the file size or format, or is there something I am doing incorrectly? Would converting the file to another format? If so, are there any free programs? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!
