i have a windows vista and i tryed instaling this nancy drew game but when i try to run it it says ERROR-incorect path to INI file - c:\Nancy Drew\game.INI please help quick.

It means that a file, games.ini, was not copied over correctly for some reason. Try reinstalling the game.

1st. check with the manufacturer of the software to see if it is Vista compatible. There also may be a "patch" on their web site for vista compatibility which would need to be downloaded and installed.
2nd. Right click on the Icon for the program, go to "properties" and the click on the "compatibility tab", Check the box for XP sp-2, then click apply then close.

I have run into this with other games. I went to the CD and found the .ini and copied it to the location of C where it was being searched for.

Uninstall every file associated with the game.. Then re-install.
