Is it possible to display street / place names in Google Earth?

Google Earth will go directly to a street number and name, display those details, but not the details of surrounding streets and/or towns. Is there an overlay to do this?

On the left side of the page, got to the 'layers' section. Scroll down and you will find a check box called 'roads'. Tick this and all the street names will display.
