Contact the software manufacturer's customer service department to get a new product key.

Lost product key for what? For most software, the product key is encrypted into the software, and there is no way to "retrieve" it. If you purchased the software, and can prove it, contact the manufacturer.
Is it just me, or are people tonight asking the most arbitrary questions without any explanation of what they need?

If it's for an OS, download Belarc Advisor. It'll give you all the info you need to know about your computer as well as the product key.
