I just lost a bid on ebay item. The seller contacted me via email saying he had another just like it for sale. I wrote him back asking if it was the same one he just sold, he replied saying it was the same one, then said this in the rest of the email:
"I`ll provide you 10 days money back guarantee, no questions asked. That means within 10 working days you decide if you don't want to keep the item. In order to purchase the deal through eBay all you have to do is to send me exactly those info:
Name:
Address:
City/State:
Country:
Zip:
I need the details exactly like i have requested, because I`ll forward all the details to eBay and right after that they will contact us with all the instructions to proceed the deal, also you will receive from them instructions about the payment method."
I've heard of some ebay scams. Is this one of them or should I take advantage of the good deal he's offering me on this? PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR REALLY TALKING ABOUT. thanx

OK, so I've had my somewhat rubbish AMD AthlonXP 2000+ PC for five years now, and I'm upgrading to a Intel Core 2 Q6600. It has 2GB DDR2 RAM, and a 512mb nVidia 8500GT graphics. My current PC has around 700mb RAM, and some 128mb graphics.

Now obviously it's more powerful, but what will the difference be like? Will it be like a 1.1litre Vauxhal Corsa racing a Bugatti? Or is that a little bit too drastic?

However, it says the Q6600 only has a clock speed of 2.4GHz - hardly impressive. What do four cores do, and how does this processor perform against high-end single-core CPUs? You know, the ones with clock speeds of like 3.6GHz etc

My computer has a virus.
It says that there is spyware on it but when i used
spybot nothing came up
then a windows explorer page pops up
with the site freerealitympegs.com
and sometimes it turns my computer screen completely white except for the courser.
How do i fix this problem?

Ive talked to the company and they said would be 40 dollars for a new. i dont want to fork out that money so i need an alternate way to fix my computer. i have run ad aware and spyware programs from numerous companies and its not finding the stuff.

I used to have limewire, but i uninstalled it because i could never even get a connection, now i have mp3 rocket and i have excellent connection (5 bars), but the searches suck and i barely have any kb/s. Any ideas? Also, i just heard about this frostwire thing, which is exactly like the others, but if anyone who's tried it knows if it's good or not, please let me know. I downloaded my torrent from www.torrentspy.com and opened it in bitcomet but the download doesn't appear on the list. if i mouse over the bitcomet icon on the start menu it says like 24 KB/s and then like 26 KB/s and so on...but it doesn't say the percent that's completed!

When I put a CD in my CD rom a command prompt pops up and closes on its own and the CD's arent running. I've used them before and now its doing this on all CD's.

the computer is a toshiba satalite a105-s4014. the games ive tried are age of empires iii and oblivion. from what the guy who sold it to me said the hard drive had crashed but he reformatted it and downloaded the drivers for it again. i looked up the drivers and i do have the right ones but only cheaper older games work. so if anyone has and ideas on what i can do to fix the problem or at least troubleshoot it more please hit me back. PRECIATE IT!

OK, when im online and i try to dl something, it always say you dont have permisson for anything i want to dl. But i am the only user and im admin. And it wont let me dl anything from activex Because it says"your security settings do not allow websited to use active x...." even though i went to the active x thing and enabled all of the options. Also, i tried to make another user but whenever i try to log onto it it say" problem loading user account" Help???
