Ive talked to the company and they said would be 40 dollars for a new. i dont want to fork out that money so i need an alternate way to fix my computer. i have run ad aware and spyware programs from numerous companies and its not finding the stuff.

Well when I had alot of junk on my pc and a virus that wouldnt let me load the desktop i just ran pc recoveryby pressing f10 when windows was starting up and it basicly deleted all the viruses on my pc and a few programs but it still kept my video and music files and games.

You might try Ad-Aware as well they has a free version on their web site.
