How can I transfer a video from Youtube to a file on my computer.

Hi all,

My computer started making a funny noise about 2 days ago. It's been resting ever since but I did turn it on long enough to try and locate the sound. I think it's coming from my hard drive. Is this possible? If so, what do I do? Simply buy a new hard drive or is all my valuable info on there and if it is how do I transfer it to the new hard drive?

FYI there is the possibility that I didn't find the right part making noise. I have terrible directional hearing. It's a hard noise to explain too.

Hi, I have a wonderful picture of a set of matching fabrics, home decor and all and it is in PDF and I need to attach it to emails so people can see it on my "want it now" so they can see what items I am looking for. I have a cd with a small clip on there. It dosent work on there because of the large ammount of scratches. Is there anyway of cleaning it so it can work again. Is there any ways that actualy clean the cd and that actualy work. If so some info on how you cleaned a cd.

Everytime I click on a link from my e-mail, the internet explorer page opens up, but then after a few seconds and error appears saying it must close down and then straight away I lose the page. The error also appears if I open up a pop up link too. Its driving me crazy, does anyone know what I can do?

my comp was stuffed i found out it was the motherboard.
i want to play good games like WOW and battlefield 2.
Will it matter what motherboard i get that will affect these games. or will it NOT matter what type of motherboard i get?

2GB ampX DDR2 800 RAM
geforce 7950GT

If I can sell my current one, I will be getting:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 (new 1333 fsb speed)
Gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo
2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800
EVGA 8800GTX (OOOOOOOO BABY)

so my question is do you think I should wait a little bit and get tommorow's technology i.e. is there anything worth waiting for within the next month or two like price drops/introduction of new stuff? Thanks a lot

The fan was not always loud. But when it does the whole pc almost shakes and then the fan slowes down. My pc is in a room where the temp is never higher the 69F. What can be causing this?

i am just mid way through on my spare p.c using n-tune to do a fine tune(approx 3 hours)
has anyone ever used this utility before,i have 2 hours to go and allready its increased my f.s.b from 133mhz to 141mhz and the agp from 66mhz to 72 mhz
its also changed memory timings
however i must admit i,m the biggest anti-overclocking p.c user,but what i like about n-tune is its stable enviroment,and its designed by the nvidia...need i say more
any views on ntune guys!

I can open hyper links on any page on th web

I have to create a database but not by using a JDBC by using textPad. It is going to be command line.I would like to know if i can store data,read,delete,search by using RandomAccess onto dat or txt files. for example: i have to delete an item by using the seek() then deleting it.

This database is like an inventory database storing materials like life-jackets and wakeboards for example. So i created a main class, then sub-classes. I have created my classes which use inheritance.

Secondly, my program has a "address database" in it, which has the name, phone numbers and address of contacts.. Can i use a linked list to store data here?
