The motherboard is much like the engine in a car pick up truck.

If you have a 0.5 ton truck, a maximum payload of 500 lb, 1 passenger and tow nothing, a 4 cylinder engine will do fine. Now put that same engine in a 3 ton truck, tow a 24 ft trailer, carry a 3,000 lb payload and you will notice a marked difference in performance.

It is the same sort of thing here. Your games require a minimum performance from the mother board. An under performer will result in undesirable performance.

It is basic physics. Undersized = underperformance and perhaps unacceptable performance. Oversized = inefficiency and waste.

the motherboard you get will have a impact on everything. the better board you get the better it will work.

remember the motherboard connects all the other parts of your computer. the better the connections the better things will run.

While motherboards will not make much difference i you use the internet or word process playing games requires as much information to pass though it as is possable. Always best to get a good mb. it will also make upgrading them later easyer.

motherboard will play a small part in game performance.

its is mostly the video card and processor that is a big deal with playing computer games.
