Here I go. So, I got a little trojan on my other hard drive, and now vista(ultimate) won't load. I mean, it gets up to the logon screen, but then the computer restarts. Anyway, I can't get in, no matter how(not in safe mode either). So I decided to install vista again on a free partition.And I did. Now I can't activate and I dunno what to do, cause it says the key's being used by another computer. I don't think formatting the other computer will likely do anything, so here I am. Anyone got any ideas?

Help! I turned on my computer this morning and the type face is TINY! It must be like an 8. My toolbars are normal size but my email and even the print on here is so small. I am not sure I even spelled this stuff right because I can hardly see it.

Specific instructions please.

I bought an ipod in January of this year---2007--for myself as a birthday gift
I have COMPETELY changed my mind--I have all the papers that came with it the little minture dock the black case everything except the original ear phones but I could get some of those--I read the paper that comes with it about the 1 year warranty I am not so good at understanding things that aren't in what I like to call english--understandable--and somewhere in there I read that the apple software company-as the third option would give you a purchase refund--SO does that mean I get ALL of my money back that I bought it for? Also who gets to pick what happens the other choices where that they would fix the problem or they would send you new parts to fix it yourself I would ofcourse want to pick the refund because I don't really want the ipod but who gets to pick those options? and my third question is where would I get the most money for selling it??Thanks more questions under this..

well..its something like this.every time i select the option to show hidden files my computer refuses to show it and moreover the pointer leads back 'dont show hidden files'. i formatted my computer thinkin its a virus it didnt suffice.now i m really perplexed and dunno wat can be done??

I tried to partition and format a used 40gig Seagate barracuda drive using the Windows98 startup disk. The system infomation that came up was that there were only about 300meg on the disk? How did this happen?

I have a pentium D 950 3.4 ghz and Asus P5vdc as motherboard, I am looking to replace it with a better and more powerful motherboard, The board is ok but has only 64mb as its graphic memory, I would like a motherboard with at least 128 mb of graphic memory(or more). Can you suggest one please. I DONT WANT TO PURCHASE A GRAPHIC CARD!

Duh! I seem to have blanked out how to put a whole bunch of pictures in a folder in one go. It's that clicky draggy thing but definitely not the way i'm doing it. HelP!

P.S My mouse has stopped working properly too as the ball wont stay down and you really have to press to make it work and it' making my wrist ache. Iv'e taken it apart and put it back together but with no sucess?

Ok here's the short of it. We've got 3 PC's that we'd like online at the same time. 2 of them are absolutely fine, whereas the 3rd is just not having it.

The machine in question is running Win XP Home (the other 2 are running Pro) and all need to connect to our router. The computer that's not working didnt' originally come with an ethernet card, but it's seemingly installed fine. However, once connecting it to the router, it's claiming there is limited or no connectivity. Obviously, the router is fine because I'm typing this now (using one of the other comps).

One thing I've noticed is that booting up takes ages, and the mouse when being moved is "sticky". That is, it'll stick after every so often. Could it be that I've got a hardware compatability problem? Oh, and the card we put in is fine because it was ok in my brothers computer, also running XP Home.

Please help!!!

When i start pc and run any program ..it will restart automaticaly without any warning. When i scan with AVG all other drive scan perfectly. but only when c drive scan pc restart automaticaly. I try to write mp3 DVD in nero but when i start write after some time it will restart my pc. somtime there is an voice comes from system. i can't graps it where it exactly comes..but i things it is frm H/D, Ram, Processor, or SMPS. I think when my pc uses heavy program or use excess memory
it restart pc. I scan my pc through Quick heal and AVG Spyware but pc not restart. but when i scan it through AVG pc restarts and only when c: start scanning. plz tell me solution..I use PIII,256 mb RAM, 40 GB H/D,Win xp sp2...My fan is working properly.

I have a new PC with Vista. the relevant specs are a 500GB hard drive, 2GB Ram, athlon 4400 CPU with Mcaffe security suite. Got it from Dell.

I can't see a big difference between my old Pc which was a standard pentium 3 with 512 Ram.

Because of this I am assuming its Vista, which is slowing things down. Am I right?
