Basically my monitor has a problem that i have to stay like from a range of 1 min to 2 hours turning it off and on till it works (19 inch widescreen) but thats not the point... thing is if i leave my computer hybernated the monitor seems to work, question is how much electricity would it waste to leave on all night hybernating? I mean if its not much then its worth it if not then i might aswell turn my monitor on and off each morning till it works =(

Can anyone let me know what is the best DVD-R recordable media available, for recording on Laptop and DVD player. I have been using Datawrite for about 12months but the last batch I had was awful, almost a quarter of them were faulty discs.

I have been trying to send emails from msn hotmail and they say that they've sent then I get an email a while after from postmaster@mail.hotmail.com saying delivery status notification: failed to send (or something like that) and it hasn't sent. What can I do to get it to send. Have I got a block on or something that I can change. It used to work but all of a sudden has gone like that. Please help! Thanks

I have a spreadsheet that uses different coloured cells to denote different things, these cells also contain a numerical value (different values) that are hyperlinked to different sheets. I want to be able to view just a particular coloured set of cells by selecting that colour. If I use filter, I can only select cell values, if I use find, it will show one cell at a time but not hide the other cells around the one I want.

I am using Microsoft Office 2003, any help you could give me would be most welcome.

Its so painful. Seeds have to be there when downloading. Why on earth cant they just give an option of download. Its easier that way! My movies are taking so long to download. I have a fast connection of 512 kbps but its been more than 24 hours already! I am downloading 4 files all together. Should I download them one by one or two by two? I think this is the last time coz this is so time consuming.

ok pretty soon the the new C2D are coming out the E6850 will be the best at 3.0GHz 1333FSB 4MB cache but will cost around 250-300$ then the intel price drop #2 will hit the other C2D and the Q6600 2.4 1066 4MB cache quad core will be the same price as a E6850 no which one is better 2.4 quad core or 3.0 core 2 and i have done research and found that the q6600 is not a false quad core it is just 2X E6600 so i guess it is not a native quad core but still 4 cores

I recently bought a new laptop with windows xp pre installed on it, however this broke down and forced me to download a copy as it didn't come with a cd even though I bought it (!)
Now it asked me to activate it so I used a crack and when it was on it said activation was complete, however when I rebooted it, it won't log on even though it says activation is complete. I'm on another pc typing this btw.
What on earth can i do? I'm so p'd off with windows because I paid for it all :(
Will installing a new version of non sp2 windows work?

I am building a sli desktop, has all sli certifield item. Plan to do sli XFX 320mb 8800. Will it be better to wait for price to drop to get the second card? or will be alot easier get it now for installion? will it alot of hazard to install second video card down the road?

I got a new PC and I installed a "DIAMOND Stealth S60PCI Radeon 7000" video card into it because it only had an onboard graphics chipset.

But for some reason my PC cannot even play games like the sims2 and Roller Coaster Tycoon3 I keep getting error messages when I go to start the game.

Can anyone research my card in Google or yahoo and see what the problem could be? even my on board graphics was at least playing the game.
