i was looking on ebay at a phone and i installed the picture as an active icon by mistake now its in the middle of my screen how do i get rid of it please its not there when i looked at desktop icons on my pc anyone help please thank you its quite a big picture it said install as desktop item and i did by mistake sorry

hi tried the things people said its not on desktop and its a picture imposed on top of the background i have on my pc not actually an icon its says active icon when i first put it on thanks

Right click on desktop select Properties from drop down list-then Desktop- then Customise Desktop- Then Web, if you see the picture listed here you can un tick it so as it does not display or Delete it. You can also add your own Picture's here if you desire. If you require a new desktop picture go back to Desktop and select a new one there.

Try RIGHT CLICKING on the ICON then in the little menu that pops up click on DELETE.

click on empty part of screen propertys then desktop and you should be able to change it ther to something else or whatever you previous wallpaper was

Go to control panel, add/remove programs and look for it there, it will completely remove it from your hard drive and memory. Hope this helps

suitable click on your laptop and choose 'residences'. bypass to the 'laptop' tab. there's a button referred to as 'customize laptop'. click that, verify mark those you want on there, and hit 'ok'.
