I have a desktop unit that I use frequently on the road for doing music and lights for a theater troup. So I took the handle off an old suitcase and installed it on the top of my monitor (and another on the CPU). So I can just pick them up by the handle to carry them.

Be sure to
BIND ITS MOUTH
and
TAPE UP ITS CLAWS.
Be careful that the tail doesn't whip you around the back of the head!
Watch the movie "The Freshman", but keep in mind that this Monitor was a TAME ONE.

I'm assuming you mean a CRT not an LCD. Put the screen against your stomach and put your hand under the sides. Be carefull though, big CRT screens are heavy!
