I have a copy of windows XP Pro. My mom doesn't speak much english, and she's wants to learn how to use a computer, so it'll be easier if all the menu/icons/text are in chinese. I don't want to buy a new copy of Windows XP in chinese, is there some way to do this?

I read something about microsoft's MUI allows me to do this, but i don't know what is MUI or how to use it.

I used to get a pop up window showing me when it was low and I got so tired of it I turned it off but don't know how to run it on. And also, I went to help Compaq and my puter was running slowly and they said adjust mouse pointer click time and it sped up my puter,how does that work????????????

I have a business associate with a Windows ME. She uses Outlook Express 5 (Don' ask me why...) as her main email server. Now, she says that a couple of weeks ago she started having problems with opening and deleting any of her email. Now the inbox is stuck at 250 new messages and she cannot delete them, open them or anything like that. When she starts Outlook Express she gets an error stating that the problem is with the internet provider. But it is not so. I checked her internet connection and there is no problem with it, but I never worked with Outlook Express(just learned about in 2001 and never used it), nor have I ever worked with Windows ME. Now before any of you suggest that she gets anew computer, she can't, she's a little old lady that does not have the means to buy one and everything else with the computer works, just not Outlook... Can anyone help me to help her?

I did a virus scan on yahoo's free pc scanners and it saids that my c:\WINDOWS\browser.exe is infected with Trojan Horse but it doesn't say what kind of trojan horse since there are thousands listed on the net.

All I want to know is how do I safely remove it myself since I don't know what kind of trojan horse it has.

I have figured out that when I try to run a Full System Scan it always gets stuck on something in "swsetup". The computer freezes and the only way to get out of Norton is to remove the battery. Someone said that there might be a file in the "swsetup" folder that Norton cannot read. What kind of file in the "swsetup" folder is likely to cause a Norton Full System scan to freak out and stop running. Thanks for your help.

The standard keyboard port is not responding, so I need to enable a USB keyboard in DOS so I can re-install windows onto my old computer ( I took out all of the old hardware and added in newer hardware I had laying around the house excluding the Hard-Drive. So I had to wipe the harddrive clean and now the standard keyboard slot isn't responding. ) Any ideas?

My brother is downloading a bunch of random stuff onto my computer and he has no idea how to check it for viruses. My question is, is there a way i can let him go onto the computer and use his old apps, but block him from downloading stuff onto it? Like can i just make it madatory for a password to be inserted before anything can be downloaded?
