I know what these are, but I found it odd that he was trying to obtain this data in an established neighborhood (my neighborhood). He was driving really slow and pulling over to the side of the road on occasion. On his dash, he had a funny looking contraption (similar to a camcorder) that he said enabled him to pick up "hot-spots" and that his company pays him to gather data about where these spots are located. I was in a rush to get my kids to school so I didn't get to ask him his company's name. And I didn't get a license plate number. Is this legal? Is he trying to gain net access for free and/or trying to hack into my home computer? I may be overreacting, but any advice is appreciated.

I'd like to send someone mail who cannot receive e-mail, and
it would be very convenient to simply e-mail the letter and have
it be automatically mailed to them, and debit my PayPal or
charge card.

I have a cable modem hooked up to a wireless router, which is connected directly to a desktop computer. I also have a laptop that used to be able to connect to the internet through the router but literally one day just stopped working.
The internet on the desktop still works fine, but on the laptop it tries to "Aquire an IP address" for ever and then says "limited or no connectivity". I tried doing the "Repair" option but that didnt solve the problem. I also tried reseting the modem and router and everything to but still no joy.
Any other ideas?
