Ok so i have a dell xps laptop and its veryyy slow and it has alot of pop ups, and it freezes. My uncle said that it has alot of spyware on it and viruses. He told me to get a system recovery CD? I don't really know what that is. Where can i get one from? And will it help out with my problem?

I just installed the 3050 printer and would like my daughter to print from her laptop but I don't know how to set it up. If I go to add a printer, the tutorial ask me to name a computer I'd like to add. I don't know how to answer question. Printer does work from the host/primary computer.
I know that I am attempting to print to a computer that is on a home network, but I don't have something configured correct.

I don't know if this matters but I am using WIndows XP, host computer and laptops are all Dell.

clicking very quickly (like an online game or something) I'll end up closing my application - it's like I'm in the middle of a game, clicking something, and the next thing I know, almost in mid-click, the cursor's moved up to the x - and I'm not moving it there. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

This is for the last person who posted on this question before.Um before you start judging,i recieved the cpu in the "dusty" condition it was in.And reseating things DOES work if something came loose.And im sorry but my cpu does not have a "memory card problem" because it does not have one.And if it did i assure you that would have nothing to do with the problem at hand,lol.FYI,i went to bios manufacturer website and it told me about every beep except 3 BEEPS in a row.Thats why i asked the queston,DUH...Why dont yo find something better to do then bash people because of the way they communicate.

Hi guys..

I'hv problem with my browser. It keeps showing the unknown site and I can't changed or modify it. I assumed my browser has been hijacked!!! I believed it start from the yahoo messanger coz i got a message from unknown people. From that, my browser also effected and showed me the site that I don't know what it is. It's in Thai language!!! I tried to used my antivirus and spyware but still can't removed. What should I do? Should I have to re-formating my pc? Please assist me...

I have a Linux installation CD. And Windows XP SP 2 installed on my comp and have 2 partitions. When I pop the CD in the CD drive and restart the comp, Windows XP starts loading without the Linux installation screen showing. It does not even give me the option of wheather I want to boot from the CD. Is there any key you need to press to boot from a CD hile your comp is starting. Please Help!

the problem is that when i put a blank cd in my pc's drive it wont recognize it. and i try to go to my pc then dvd drive it says "the cd is corrupted or is using a format windows cant read" but the cd is new (blank)! and when i put a burned cd in ti (with something in it ) it reads it like normal...can somebody help me please?
