This is for the last person who posted on this question before.Um before you start judging,i recieved the cpu in the "dusty" condition it was in.And reseating things DOES work if something came loose. And im sorry but my cpu does not have a "memory card problem" because it does not have one.And if it did i assure you that would have nothing to do with the problem at hand, lol.FYI,i went to bios manufacturer website and it told me about every beep except 3 BEEPS in a row.Thats why i asked the queston,DUH...Why dont yo find something better to do then bash people because of the way they communicate.

Almost always, the error beeps during the BIOS phase of the startup are related to RAM chip problems. Couple thoughts that might help:

1. Are the RAM chips compatible with the motherboard?
2. Is the CMOS configures properly for those RAM chips?
3. Are the RAM chips installed properly and are functional?

RAM is one of the first components on a motherboard to fail after prolonged use (usually heat kills them after a long time). Especially if they were the lower quality "tier 3" chips that no-name manufacturers sell.

I would bet that it is one of those three issues. I cannot recall BIOS beeps that did not involve those problems. Good luck!

the three beeps are a submit code. they could desire to be short or long only like Morse code. for example: On an AMI BIOS 3 short beeps is a memory blunders. On an IBM BIOS 3 long beeps is a keyboard blunders With the producer and type of your pc you need to have the skill to seek for the beeps and discover out what's ill it.

when u on your cpu.if it beeps 3 times means that your RAM is dusty or spoilt.off your cpu.try to keep out and dust it and on it again.if the beeping still continues, then you will have to change your RAM card.yup.cheers
