Easy. All you do is right-click your "my computer" icon, and click "Properties." Under where it says "computer:" and your processor info, it will tell you how much RAM space you have."
On the other hand, if you wanted to know how much RAM was free at the moment, first you'll need a Windows XP computer. Then, you will press Ctrl. + Alt. + Del. and invoke the Windows Task Manager. Under the Tab "Performance," you will find an area called "physical Memory (K)" and there, beside "Available," you have the amount of free RAM in your computer!!!!!

Right click your My Computer icon, select properties.
If you mean hard drive space, then open the My Computer icon and right click the HD you want to see, then select properties, a pie chart will show you.
