I had installed AVG free edition,,and kept getting hackers, key loggers, 3 viruses,,, went to computer.control panel.add / remove programs,, and it showed AVG as inactive,,, yet it appeared to run a scan every morning at 8am? So I removed it , installed Trend Micro, same thing happened.. So removed it and put AVG free Edition back,,, and looks like same thing,, And my computer is slow and suspicious acting,, what is happening ? Why is my antivirus not running correctly ? And can also having Yahoo anti-spy,,interfere with antivirus program ? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer, I appreciate it very much...

Its a mixture of some images being displayed while others are just a lilttle red cross. Cant see anything that invites me to download images. On some web pages there are mixtures of pictures and 'red crosses'. I assume it must be a setting in Internet Explorer.. can anyone advise what I need to change?

When I use Windows Explorer and look at my folders' properties, they are marked at read only. I can easily drag and drop files from any folder and/or drive (including the CD drive) to any other folder. However, when I try to drag a file over from a shared network folder on my wife's PC I get a 'read only' message and the file won't copy. I get a message that says 'Access Denied'. This process used to work fine. I've tried defragging and ran checkdisk with the fix flag on but to no avail. Suggestions please.

let say i am sending someone a 50 meg file..and it takes 20 minutes...will it take exactly twice as long to send (2) 50 meg files if they are being sent simultaneous.

what if in the above situation, the file(s) were being downloaded from a website, as opposed to me having to upload them first.

Is it easy to create a web site that has features with visual and voice rather than just the plain old site seen...........If I wanted to have my new web site when clicked on come up immediatly as a visual with voice is that expensive. My computer turns off and won't reboot correctly unless I wait 10 minutes. I know it's not a software issue because I get a message from windows saying it's a harware failure. My motherboar, ram and processor are less than 6 months old. If I try to reboot immediately, it won't. It just beeps and nothing comes up on the screen. Spyware/virus/registry scans done - nothing found.
