Will pastor email you the sermon each week? Are you thinking about recording each one and uploading that?
I would use a text method, that way the sermons would be "findable" at google and such. People that want to HEAR it, can use the Accessibility features on their Windows Computer, and have the page READ out loud by the computer. You also would not have to be concerned about Web space and running out. But if you do feel compelled about having a LINK to sound, then show the TEXT also. With the text, more people will learn about your weekly sermons on-line.
For sound, I would get a digital recorder. Then you won't have to make special conversions. This will be HARD work and take diligence.

Record the sermon in Windows Media format or Real Player,
then copy the file to your server. Then create a link on your web site to the file (same way you would make a link to another web page). When somebody clicks on the link it will start up windows media player or real player and start playing after buffering some of the audio.
The only concern is to be sure you keep the audio file a reasonable size ..
HERE is all you need on how to do this and the various media options:

Hope that helps...

Erhm, if you mean live music streaming then you need some kind of software.
If you want to record your sermon and after you've finished the sermon, host it on your website for others to download and listen to, then you could simply obtain a FTP software of some kind and upload it to your host directly and then have a link to the source and let people download it.

Well..you could record them with some kind of microphone, upload them to a computer, then put them on a website.
For live sermons streaming online, you would need to use some sort of Audio streaming software which would be kind of hard to do since you would most likely need a computer somewhere with a camera in church!

If you are doing Audio , record it and use an FTP program to post it on your site and have a link for it. Have you thought about also doing it in print, maybe a PDF file with a link to download? It would be beneficial for those who are hard of hearing or would rather read it?
