I got an Antiontec GT704WG from Verizon DSL and connected fine to the internet with my desktop, but can't connect with my laptop. It has a wireless card, the Actiontec recognizes it on the network, but I can't connect to the internet.
Verizon was not able to help me at all.

This DVD/CD writer is built-in in my Laptop LG LS55 Express, It is detected by the laptop but it wont read, play or burn any kind of DVD/CD/VCD or data. What's wrong??? Thanks.

I'm using a 48x CD-ROM drive with iTunes 7 to import my music into mp3's, only it starts to copy at or around 2.5x, never going faster than 6x and sometimes dipping down to 0.2x.

I've used mostly store-bought music CD's, tried changing the bitrate, left iTunes as the only application running all with similar results. On a friend's computer (not that different from my own) they copy considerably faster. Could it be the drive's settings? iTunes doesn't seem to have settings for this.

My computer is running Windows XP SP2, Celeron 1.7GHz processor, 128MB DDR RAM.
