I want to copy some of my DVD's, and want to use my Nero Burning software.. But now I have a new Imac.. I want to use Nero, but
I can't open it on my Imac..? Do I have to buy another kind of Nero for the Macintosh Imac Duo, or what shall I do...? Or is there a better program to copy my DVD's? I know it's illegal to copy DVD's so I'm asking a theoretical question here.. Is there An Imac Expert out there? I do not need to hear from Windows people, as you have no idea of what I'm talking about.. and if Woz happens to be on line, thanks for creating such a wonderful computer !

I have been using Eclipse on and off for about 1 1/2 years, and I'm very happy with the way it works. However, I've heard since I started programming more than 5 years ago that Eclipse copied most of its features from IntelliJ IDEA. So, finally I downloaded a trial version of the IDE this morning and I have barely used yet and I'm having a heck of a time trying not to think how Eclipse would have done something. But from what I've seen so far, it includes plenty of features that I would like Eclipse to have.

My question then is: for a college student working on small-to-medium sized projects is IntelliJ worth the $100 for the academic version or should I just stick with Eclipse for the time being, until I really need the productivity features?

i can't hear the voices in my windows media player when i play a movie. when i put in a movie into my drive, it plays the movie but none of the voices will play...only the background music! can anyone help! thanks ^-^

My browser settings appear to be correct, but when I go to check my status for crash or big error logs online, there is no record. I have found that this website is the only place that offers easily understood info on so much data in general. The staff that maintains this site must be from a different planet than the rest of Microsoft. What I really would also like to know is how to access the database associated with this site. One of you wizards must have these answers for me. It would be a really superb act to tell me!

I'm trying to power up a buddy's PC.

As far as I can tell the power supply is OK. If I short pin 16 (PS_on) to pin 15 (common) I get all my voltages just fine.

The power switch itself is fine. When I check voltage across the switch it's something like 1 volt (I'm thinking this should be the 3.3V I see on PS_ON). So I figure I'll check continuity between the switch pins and the power supply connector pins. One switch pin is fine to the common but the other pin reads high resistance going to (PS_on), on the power supply plug.

Am I correct in assuming the power switch is supposed to be tied directly to the (PS_on) of the power supply plug? I'm thinking the board has a bad feed but wanted some other opinions.

Am I being clear as mud?

Ok let's say I put 0.45 in A1 and filled series down with adding 0.45 each time. I then put the cells to 0 decimal places. So the number has rounded up or down accordingly. In cell B1 I use the formula =SUM(A1:A200). It uses the 0.45, 0.9 etc... how can I get it to use the whole number instead?

I lent my Gateway 400VTX laptop to my daughter, and 1 year later she brings it nack to me and it does not boot up or show any signs of life when plugged into the AC.

If the battery is "dead" would AC power still work to bring it to life?
