How do I use DOS commands in Windows XP? I understand that XP uses a 'dummy' DOS CMD prompt - is there a way to get to the real DOS prompt?

If u really want ot use dos command in xp then u just go n check in that below link there u can find all the ways touse a dos command n not only that many diffrent dos prompets shortcut's can b found

Well, I found that when I went to start, run, and typed in 'command' instead of 'cmd', it actually shows up as Microsoft Windows DOS. Not sure if this is really DOS or not, but I guess it's worth a try.
