first my system used to boot very quickly.but ever since i have reinstalled my windows system seems to have slowed down.can you help me?

Whenever I switch on my PC, once windows XP starts, it begins to install a program called PhotoGallery and asks me to insert a disk to continue with the installation. I'm not sure why this is happening but would like to stop this action on start-up.

Bearing in mind my keen interest in PC along with technology in general & equally within the Gadgets as well.

Bearing this in mind, which particular regular magazine could I possibly subscribe to.

I want some magazine that's NOT too expensive i.e. less than £10 /month. I wouldn't mind subscribing to monthly OR quarterly magazine, since the quality rather take preference than the quantity itself.

So far I've subscribed to "Which Computing" magazine, which I think has quarterly edition. I'm thinking to have PC Plus as well, which I believe has monthly edition & I reckon the price itself is around £6/month (or per edition, if it's not monthly based magazine).

Could anyone around point me in the right direction as which magazine they use or could recommend me, including it's price, edition frequency (monthly/quarterly) & more importantly, the variety of things that get covered (Computers, Gadget, Technology in general) ???

I have windows 2000 server in my office. Some of our clients r not
doing proper shutdown. So is there any option to automatically Lock
the client system when they r not using? so other client cannot use
