Whenever I switch on my PC, once windows XP starts, it begins to install a program called PhotoGallery and asks me to insert a disk to continue with the installation. I'm not sure why this is happening but would like to stop this action on start-up.

2. Start>run>type msconfig then press enter
click start up tab from system utility popup.

i think it is being infected by some adware or some other program in ur comp. try installing yahoo anti-spy and search for threat. if not get a technician to or if u noe how to run the command panel to stop the processes

go in to control pane and click add/remove program and then remove that software.
if no
click on icon of that software which is on start bar and check for uninstallation
