Hey ♥!

well you can encrypt just any file and folders on window XP

let me tell you how!

Step by step

1>Right click on file/folder you wanna encrypt.

2>Now click on tht * [ advanced]*

3>as soon as you have clicked tht advanced you would see some options for..... ENcrypting file... select that please.

4> Now back to previous BOX and click apply/OK

5> Now some options for Encryption wld pop up at you,,select any.

And Congrats!!! you are done....

IMPORTANT: Well although you have encrypted this file,still it will only open with the same user account &passward...i mean the user account you have logged in (in Window )...Other then this file would simply not be accessable to other computer and other accounts becoz while
Encrytion of tht file...your user account name plus passward is set as the key for encryption.

lemme tell you how exactly encryption works

FILE + KEYS-----encryption algo.---->> Cipher

Cipher +Keys-----Decryption algo---->> File

in your case Keys = User account ya logged &passward

♥ ♥hope this would help !! ♥ ♥

find and download a decrypting software. You'll need one that will detect the particular encryption wether it's PGP (Pretty Good Protection) or whatever make sure of the encryption and that you're software can decrypt it.
