i have $$1500 and i want the best pc i can buy, i only need the components, i dont need monitor, case, mouse, keyrboard, or speakers. I want dual core...about 2GHz or more, 5.1 suround sound sound card and a PCI Express 256 / 512 video card, and 1 GB of ram DDR 2....what should i get. please write the model of the hardware and the company that made it and its price. Thank you....

PS: I wanted to get an Area 51 5500 pc but its too expensive...im looking for something like that though...im willing to pay $$1500 PLUS Tax, so go crazy!

When I click to see someones profile, the screen comes up with options regarding age. (1) I'm over 18 preceed and (2) I'm not over 18 take me back to home page. When I click option 1, it then prompts me to sign in. Then I get looped back to the same age verifications page.

So, I'm getting a new computer, custom built from www.vantagecomputers.co.uk. I'm using the speakers, monitor, keyobard, mouse, printer and scanner from my current PC. I want a computer that will be able to keep up with new game releases for a while and generally be a good computer. I want to know if you guys think I should make any changes to what I have planned, bearing in mind I do not want to spend a huge amount of money.

I am wanting to sell my computer VIA ebay or one of my local friends. The reason is I wish to upgrade to the new intel Duo for my purposes. Heres my specs, how much I sell it for?
Dell Dimension 4600 Pentium 4 3.0Ghz HT Technology.
1024 Ram, a GB of Ram, 2x256 What came with Dell, and 1x512 Kingston Hyper X Ram, all ram has alluminumn cooling on them.
40GB Main HD, Standard that comes with Dell.
160GB Backup HD, I keep all my music on. 7200 RPM Maxtor
CD RW Drive as slave. Has max CD RW speed of RW drives.
DVD RW Drive as master 16x max current speeds.
256 Ram Xtasy 9600 (Ati Radeon Card) AGP
Note: No floppy drive came with the machine.
Note: Only problem ever with the machine IS current, the integrated ethernet does not work (has been frozen since a halo lockup during gameplay, but there is a new thernet card I installed which does. Also has a PCI DUAL fanning card. (2 fans blowing with a nenon blue light to cool the system. The board features integrated 64MB grphx, its off.

i have a 512mb nvidia geforce 7300 SE and i recently downloaded a driver and i can already see the difference but there are some setting i dont understand and pls help me so i get the nest results out of my graphics car>

1. what does antialiasing mean and what setting should i use: off, 2x, 2 xQ or 4X

2. what does anisotropic mean and what setting shall i choose off, 2x, 4x, 8x 16x

3. and the monitor i have is a flat panel which has a screen resultion of 1440 by 900

what setting shall i use to get the best graphics which are smooth thanks!!!!

I have the computer FUJITSU SIEMENS - SCALEO P.
When i try to burn an audio CD it doesnt seem to work - the buffer level doesnt seem to be active.

I use Nero.
The drive i have is - HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-4164B

Could somebody please help me out. I really want to burn audio CD's!!!!

I want to develop a simple database with multiple tables and an easy interface as a homegrown application for administering a youth football team. I am not a db guy but do have some c++ background. wondering what free tools are out there that would be easiest to get up to speed on and easiest to develop the app. advice is appriciated. Players would have things like paperwork, skills assessment, vitals like age and weight - there would be schedule information, contact information, parent info...reports would be needed to arrange player by skills assessments, handle injuries and attendance.
