Chances are you only deleted the icon.
So, don't worry you have not deleted the sound device.
Unless of course you went into add/remove hardware section, then that is another story. You will have to install disc to reinstall if that is the case.
Assuming you alone deleted your icon which would case your sound not to work as well, then what you should do is search your computer (everywhere) and find something that says sound on it.
Personally the best way for me would be to go into the start menu, click on search field and type in sound card. This will take you right to it. Any thing to do with sound will come up. Then all you have to do is restore it to it's previous state. Just follow the directions the computer gives you.

You have to download the audio driver.
However, I feel that there is no need to do it. In the device manager, u can reactivate it by using add/remove hardwares or by reinstalling the drivers. The drivers will be there in the system itself.

The sound device is an audio adapter so you should simply click on 'Audio driver' under your model number.
