i would just go to a computer store and talk with them...i would like to know what you mean though by computer hackers has messed yours up...i have had suppose to be computer techs work on mine and now i took it to a real shop and he said he could not do anything with it but he tried to sell me just a tower for 350$....i did not have that kind of money and pay my bills....my son got a whole new set , well looks new to me for 450$....so i am going to save up money and go see what i can find....mine is a windows xp professional...the last computer tech put in a compac disc and that is downgrading...all i needed fixed was the media player...it says it is loading but nothing ever loads...so i do not know if this is what you mean by computer hackers or not....but i find it hard to trust anymore....all everyone wants is money...i have put out so much money on this one i think it would pay to get a new one and just get the pictures and things i bought to put on this one on a disc....i do not know i am confused of what to do....good luck with yours though

If you go with an Apple you won't have to wrry about viruses and things. Maybe you should avoid Windows entirely, thus avoiding the problem.
